Joe's Flight of Phoenix Eagles

“As the host of the Gun Stories series, it’s no secret that I’m a big fan of vintage & modern firearms. If you’ve watched my show, you’ll know I appreciate the historical impact as much as the design & function of the guns themselves. The first firearms changed the world when they were Invented over 700 years ago and continue to evolve to this day. The same applies to my love of cars & watches. Both radically changed the world we live in - in their own ways, and both are mechanical devices that must perform well - and look good doing it.

Knowing my interest in watches, a very close friend who calls me as “Uncle Joe” recently pointed out an upstart American watch brand called “Phoenix” that he thought I might like. He reached out to the brand and the owners were kind enough to send me an early sample to check out. They also explained how one of the partners is actually a Master Watchmaker who builds these one by one at his workshop right here in the USA. Long story short – I now own all three and enjoying wearing them on and off screen.

I just wanted to say thanks to the guys at Phoenix Watch Company for reviving this American design & best of luck to them all – especially MJ who built my watches, and David who’s love of guns & watches might even rival my own!"
